Christine BecraftExercise Science TeacherI took my first weight lifting class at Cornell and have been working in the fitness industry ever since! I worked as the program director at a local health club where I did personal training and taught classes including: cycling, step, classes for seniors, and kid programs. I earned my Master's In Teaching from SUNY Cortland and had been teaching biology, health and PE before joining the CTE team in 2018. The Sports Conditioning & Exercise Science program is dynamic, rigorous and allows students to focus on areas of special interest from athletic trainers to coaches to physical therapists. I bring 20 years of wellness experience and the energy that comes with a passion for sharing the benefits of exercise! Currently, I continue to teach cycling classes and practice yoga and running to keep up with my two dogs and two children who love to hike and be outdoors.
